Admin Guide - Disable Parent Task Rollup Job

When project task status and % complete are updated, the parent task rollup job then updates the status and % complete of the parent task without requiring a user to open the project Gantt.

If you have custom flows that update parent tasks, you can disable the parent task rollup job. This help article will show you how.

Please note:

You must be a Salesforce System Administrator to complete the steps in this article.

1. In Setup, enter "Custom Settings" in the Quick Find box and click on Custom Settings.
   
   
    
2. Click on Manage beside Inspire Planner Config.
   
   
    
3. Click on Edit.
   
   
    
4. Set Disable Parent Task Rollup Job to TRUE. Then, click on Save.
