Enable API for Help Center Access from within Inspire Planner

    You can access the Inspire Planner Help Centre from within Inspire Planner. This makes it easy for you to view help articles while in Inspire Planner.

     

    In order for a user to be able to access the Inspire Planner Help Centre from within Inspire Planner, you would need to have API enabled for the user's profile. This article will show you how to enable API for a user profile.

     

     

    Please note:

    Auto-authentication is limited to Salesforce Production environments and is not available in Sandboxes.

     

     

    In Salesforce Lightning

    This section will walk you through how to enable API for a user profile in Salesforce Lightning environment.

     

    1. Click on the Gear at the top right corner and go to Setup.


       
    2. Enter "profiles" in theQuick Find box. Then click on Profiles under Users.


       
    3. Look for the user profile you would like to enable API for and click on Edit beside it.


       
    4. Scroll through the page and locate the section called Administration Permissions. Then, look for API Enabled and make sure the box is checked. Click on Save when finished.


       

    In Salesforce Classic

    This section of the article will walk you through to enable API in Salesforce Classic environment.

     

    1. Click on the dropdown arrow beside your name at the top right corner and go to Setup.


       
    2. Enter "profile" in the Quick Find box and click on Profiles under Manage Users.


       
    3. Look for the user profile you would like to enable API for and click on Edit beside it.


       
    4. Scroll through the page and locate the section called Administration Permissions. Then, look for API Enabled and make sure the box is checked. Click on Save when finished.
