This section contains fixes we've made specific to the Gantt LWC.
Fixed an issue where Actual Start Date and Actual Finish Date values from a template or source project were incorrectly carried over to the resulting project when:
Actual Start Date and Actual Finish Date values are now correctly excluded when creating or updating a project from a template or cloned project.
Fixed an issue where adding or inserting an image into the Description (Rich Text) field caused checklist items to display incorrectly when the Checklist dialog was opened.
Resolved an issue where, after loading a project, adjusting Gantt column widths could cause the columns to overlap while the project rows did not resize correctly. Column resizing now displays correctly without overlap.
Resolved an issue that could cause unnecessary delays when saving projects. When Total Slack and Critical fields were present in modified tasks, their calculated values could be incorrectly detected as changes even when they had not actually changed. This caused unnecessary data to be sent to the server during save operations. Save processing now correctly handles these calculated fields, reducing unnecessary save delays.
Resolved an issue in the Gantt where status values with a different Field Name and API name displayed inconsistently. The status initially displayed its Label, but after being selected, it switched to the API name. Status values now consistently display the configured Label.
Fixed an issue where colors displayed in the Project and Portfolio UI were not retained in exported PDF files. Exported PDFs now correctly display the same colors shown in the corresponding UI.
Fixed an issue where baseline columns were displayed without their baseline labels when printing. Columns such as Baseline 1 Start Date, Baseline 1 Finish Date, and Baseline 1 Duration were displayed only as Start Date, Finish Date, and Duration.
The correct baseline column labels are now displayed in both the Print Settings Dialog and the exported PDF/PNG.
Fixed an issue where selecting All Rows in the Print Dialog excluded child tasks that were hidden under collapsed parent tasks. All tasks are now included when All Rows is selected, regardless of whether parent tasks are expanded or collapsed.
This section includes additional fixes and improvements across Inspire Planner to enhance stability, performance, and overall user experience.
Updated the Task.Hourly_Rate field to support decimal values. Previously, hourly rates were rounded to the nearest whole dollar, which was inconsistent with other currency fields. Hourly rates can now retain decimal values as expected.
Task.Hourly_Rate
Fixed an issue where users were unable to access Inspire Planner Settings when the required permission was assigned through a Permission Set Group. Inspire Planner now correctly recognizes permissions granted through Permission Set Groups, allowing authorized users to access the Inspire Planner Settings as expected.
Added the ability to configure the fields displayed in the Predecessor/Successor LWC component via a field set called Task Predecessors and Successors - Extra Columns.
Resolved an issue in the unified Task List (My Tasks tab) in External Portal 2.0 where the column picker was missing labels for Critical, Task Chat, and Checklist Items. These columns now display their appropriate labels in the column picker.
Fixed an issue where clicking Export to Excel did not trigger any action. Previously, no file was downloaded and no message or error was displayed.
Fixed an issue where Contacts could change the status of a project task to Completed or Deferred in the External Portal while the task still contained open checklist items.
Previously, the status change was accepted without a validation message. Tasks changed to Completed were later reverted by the Beacon, while tasks changed to Deferred remained in that status.
The External Portal now prevents contacts from changing a task to Completed or Deferred when it contains open checklist items and displays a message explaining why the status change is not allowed.
