This release introduces a comprehensive visual refresh of the Inspire Planner Gantt
The enhancement focuses on improving readability, consistency, and at-a-glance interpretation of project schedules by standardising colours, layout density, and interaction behaviour across task bars, milestones, grid elements, and navigation controls.
Key improvements include a new status-driven visual system for task bars and milestones, and enhanced visual cues such as live status-based icon updates, critical path highlighting, and improved dependency styling. The toolbar and header areas have also been redesigned for a more compact, modern layout using a consistent icon system.
Overall, this restyle delivers a more cohesive and intuitive scheduling experience, ensuring that users can interpret project status, progress, and critical work faster and more consistently across the platform.
Gantt LWC - Navigating the Inspire Planner Project Gantt
Creating a project from a template now includes the ability to copy related records associated with the template project. This includes standard Inspire Planner records, such as Risks, Issues, and Change Requests, as well as customer-specific custom object records that have a relationship to the Project.
This enhancement provides a more complete project setup experience by allowing important project information and related records to be carried forward when creating projects from templates, while also supporting customer-specific extensions.
For more information, please see the following help articles which have been updated to include these enhancements.
Manual enablement required. This feature is not enabled automatically as part of the upgrade. An administrator must complete the required configuration steps before it becomes available. See the applicable Admin Guide for setup instructions.
Admin Guide - Project Template Related Records Inheritance
Added the ability to move a sprint and all of its associated user stories from one Agile project to another. This simplifies managing active work when closing or completing Agile projects.
For more information, please see Agile Projects - Move Sprints to Another Agile Project
Added the ability to disable the Print and Export buttons, allowing administrators to prevent users from printing or exporting project data when required.
Admin Guide - Disable Print and Export in the Gantt LWC
Added an optional resource filter to improve performance and simplify resource selection in organizations with large numbers of Contact records. When the new Enable Resource Filter setting is enabled, Inspire Planner only displays Contacts marked as Inspire Planner Resource in resource-related searches and lookups, including Resource Utilization, Resources, Attributes, task assignments, and project collaborators.

Fixed an issue where milestone tasks with Finish-to-Start or Finish-to-Finish dependencies could incorrectly move to the next business day when marked as complete.
Fixed an issue where automatic resource assignment based on Multi Role values did not occur when tasks were copied and pasted from one project to another. Tasks now correctly assign resources according to the configured Multi Role values after being pasted.
Resolved an issue where, in Automatic scheduling mode, a Project Task constraint was incorrectly set four hours after the Start Date. This could result in unexpected changes to the task Duration and other schedule-related fields. The constraint is now applied using the correct date and time, ensuring task schedules remain accurate.
Resolved an issue where the Actual Effort and Actual Cost values were copied when Project Tasks were copied and pasted. Since these values are specific to the original task, they are no longer carried over to the newly created task.
Improved grouping behavior in the Task Console by resolving issues that could cause task rows or task icons (Chatter, Time Log, and Checklist) to disappear after regrouping, and preventing tasks from appearing multiple times across different pages.
Fixed an issue where searching for a Role in the Add Resource Demand dialogue within the Forecasting tab returned no results. Roles can now be successfully searched and selected when creating a Resource Demand.
Resolved an issue where icons in the Booking Appointments component were not displayed correctly when opened from a Project Task. Instead of the expected icons, white squares were shown. Icons now render correctly in the Booking Appointments interface.
This section provides updates on our legacy components, including Gantt Visualforce, Portfolio Visualforce, and Resource Allocation, in addition to detailing enhancements and fixes across various aspects of Inspire Planner like Inspire Planner System Jobs and the External Project Portal. While we continue to support these legacy components, we want to highlight our strategic shift towards prioritizing development on Lightning Web Components (LWC). This move is in line with our goal to harness the latest Salesforce technologies for delivering solutions that are not only more efficient and scalable but also rich in features. We encourage our users to start considering the transition to LWC-based components, to fully benefit from the continuous innovations within Inspire Planner.
Resolved an issue where the Update Status of all Project Tasks from Status of related Salesforce Tasks action in Inspire Planner Settings did not update the corresponding Project Task statuses after being executed.
Fixed an issue where task assignment email notifications displayed merge field codes instead of the expected field values. Email templates now correctly resolve merge fields, ensuring recipients receive properly formatted task assignment notifications.
