This section contains fixes we've made specific to the Gantt LWC.
Addressed an issue where editing the role on an automatically created Project Team record caused assigned resources to be removed from project tasks and related Salesforce Tasks to be deleted. In cases where time entries prevented deletion, duplicate Salesforce Tasks could be created upon reassignment.
Updated logic now ensures:
Existing assignments for Project Tasks without roles are preserved when a Project Team role is updated from blank to a populated value.
Assignments for Project Tasks without roles are removed only when the corresponding Project Team record for the resource is deleted.
For more information, please see Auto Assign Tasks to Project Team Members using Roles
Fixed an issue where custom lookup fields in the Gantt LWC did not honor Salesforce Lookup Filters. Lookup filters are now applied when selecting records.
Fixed an issue in Task List projects where a task’s Finish Date could revert after an update when the Start Date and Finish Date were initially set during task creation.
This section includes additional fixes and improvements across Inspire Planner to enhance stability, performance, and overall user experience.
Resolved an issue where project creation from large templates failed, even when the Use Batch Create Process setting was enabled.
Updated the overdue reconciliation batch job to support partial processing, allowing valid records to continue updating even when individual records fail due to validation rules or record locks.
Fixed an issue where users could still click and access Internal Only task records through the task subject link. Internal Only tasks now display as non-clickable text to prevent unauthorized access to task details.
Optimized the Resource Management component to improve load times and support projects with 5,000+ records more efficiently.
Fixed an issue in Resource Forecasting where Role Profile hours could be calculated and plotted incorrectly. Total Hours per Day and Resource Demand allocations based on percentage values are now calculated correctly, ensuring forecasted hours accurately reflect the configured working hours and allocation percentages.
Resolved an issue where Resource Demand records created from Opportunities were not displayed in the Resource Forecast view. Opportunity-related allocations now appear correctly and are highlighted in blue for easy identification.
Resolved an issue where the Project Description field was not available in the Portal View project columns configuration. The field can now be added and displayed through the appropriate field set when customizing project columns in the portal.
Task Console now automatically creates a Resource Profile record for users who do not already have one. Previously, users without a Resource Profile record would receive an error when accessing Task Console because user preferences are stored on the Resource Profile. When a user opens Task Console and no Resource Profile exists, the system automatically creates one. This ensures Task Console can save user preferences without requiring manual Resource Profile creation.
Fixed an issue where users could receive a “Too many query rows: 50001” error when searching for tasks in the Time Tracker tab. Search performance has been optimized to reduce query volume and exclude Project Templates from the results.
